About Rosie's

At first glance you may be tempted to think that Rosie's is just another little rustic cafe in another little village forgotten by the highway but you would be quite wrong.

Rosie's is the beating heart of Johns River, and while we are a quiet village we are not catotonic. We could best be described as being in a deeply meditative state. Having said that, there is far more to Rosie's than meets the eye, our resident ghost, Amy, is not alive and well and just loves to confound the patrons with her shimmering ethereal presence. There is also the Gallery where our local artists hang their treasures for your visual consumption.

Whilst you are perusing the Gallery your eyes may be tantalized from the art to linger on the cornucopia of collectable gifts in the gift shop which shares the space. Take home a mystical Nepalese singing bowl or perhaps a pair of ornate antique carved candlesticks from our gift shop range. Rosie's is also home to Touchwood, the working studio of master timber artisan Roy, who has recently left the lures of the city where he designed quintessential fitouts for the likes of Chanel, Cartier and Yves St Laurent to name just a few. Roy now spends his time crafting amazing tactile pieces for his own pleasure as well as beautiful pieces commissioned by clients. See "Touchwood" for more......
